Las Vegas Casinos will go smoke free, but when?

For eight years, Steinberg has joined other smoke-free advocates and dealers to picket outside the massive gaming conference. They don’t consider it a protest because they’re not anti-gaming, just against smoking in casinos.

Steinberg said public support for banning smoking in Nevada casinos has grown a little more each year, leaving her optimistic for the future. Some Las Vegas sportsbooks and poker rooms already ban smoking.

Dealers, bartenders, change clerks, security guards and even high paid management of Las Vegas Casinos are dying. Some are dying at a rapid pace, some slowly, but all are dying. From secondhand smoke! Some are effected by frequent sickness in a minor way but others have the same symptoms that a 30 year smoker has. The question is how much longer are the owners of these casinos going to keep themselves in the position to be sued? When the first lawsuit hits the courts, others will follow and it will cost the Las Vegas Casino’s Billions of dollars.
